Spectra’s consultative ABA services are designed to provide support to clients and families needing a transitional level of care.
Who benefits from consultative services?
Families wanting interim support until they are accepted into a more intensive ABA program
Caregivers wanting targeted training with teaching skills and managing behaviors at home
Clients who would benefit from a low dosage of 1:1 support with communication, social, or emotional regulation skills
Clients and client families who have transitioned out of more intensive ABA therapy programs that could use some ongoing support
What do consultative sessions look like?
Individual Support Sessions
Skill building sessions and targeted 1:1 instruction with a BCBA to help meet your child’s individualized goals
Caregiver Support Sessions
Tailored caregiver sessions to provide help with behavior management and teaching strategies to promote learning at home
Individual support sessions are typically 1 hour long and occur 1-2 times per week depending on availability and dosage of support needed to achieve outlined objectives
Caregiver support sessions range from 30-60 minutes and session schedule is designed to align with the level and type of support needed for each family
Virtual meetings may be available depending on insurance coverage to increase convenience of scheduling
