The Spectra Story

Let us reintroduce ourselves.

From humble beginnings…

Spectra Behavioral Health began with three longtime friends and colleagues setting off on their own. Jes, Megan, and Victoria began working together in 2013 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Here they realized their approaches and dedication to teaching children were very similar. They later moved to private practice together where their connection grew and they became even closer. In 2020, they launched Spectra, opening their doors to the community for the first time in April of 2021.

The company has grown thoughtfully since its conception, ensuring that each team member holds the values on which Spectra was founded: being accountable to clients, caregivers and team members, demonstrating a balanced treatment approach and approaching clients with the utmost care and compassion. This approach has led to a large and robust team of caring and dedicated professionals. In the summer of 2023, the company moved from its original location to a clinic that can serve nearly twice the number of children each week.

The Spectra team strives to create a place that fills in the gaps of other ABA providers by evolving with research and listening to the autistic community and being values-driven. They are proud to be family-focused, dedicated to the growth of the clinicians under them, and committed to always doing better. As a team, they know they can be a leader in the community for compassionate and high-quality services.

To BIG dreams…

From the onset, Jes, Megan, and Victoria have sought to make Spectra the company that fills in the gaps of other ABA providers. They strive to do this in 4 key ways:

  • Provide high-quality, ethical, and family-focused care

  • Create a positive, team-centered culture dedicated to the growth of the clinicians under them

  • Evolve and grow their practice of ABA to serve our local community in the best way possible

  • Preserve Spectra’s values of being accountable, balanced, and caring in every aspect of the company

To reality.

  • Over 34 full-time, compassionate and successful team members

  • Serving over 40 clients

  • Transition- focused care to less intensive levels of support for 18 clients

  • Consistently receive impeccable scores on parent satisfaction surveys

  • Values- based decisions drive company direction and growth

  • Support for differing levels of needs (consultation, caregiver training, intensive intervention, etc.)
